Stocking Filler Box for a Lindt Snowflake

These little boxes are the perfect size for a Lindt Snowflake treat, and would make a great stocking filler!

They are simple foldover boxes, using Seaside Spray cardstock, and decorated with the beautiful Feels Like Frost DSP.

The greetings are from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, stamped on rectangles cut using the stitched rectangle dies, and decorated with a few snowflakes from the #Elfie stamp set, and mounted on a larger rectangle of Seaside Spray.

The Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, tied in a square knot, adds the finishing touch.

Hope you like it!

Instructions:

Seaside Spray Cardstock cut at  7” x 5” (18.5cm x 13cm),

        score on the long side at 1/2“, 3 1/4”, 3 3/4”, 6 1/2” (1.5cm, 8.5cm, 10cm, 17cm)

& on the short side at 1/2” (1.5cm) from each end.

On each of the 2 sides, you should now have square, rectangle, square, rectangle, square.

Cut down the score lines between the rectangles & squares, just to the first score line.

For a neat finish, now wedge slightly into each of the squares.

Fold & burnish all the score lines.

Using wet glue, or other strong adhesive, fold up one end square and the middle square and attach to the inside of the rectangle, making sure the join is square. Then do the same to the opposite side, at the same end. This forms the base of the box.

The other end forms the lid. Attach each of the squares to the adjacent rectangle as above. Tip: Fold the lid around the base as you glue it, this will ensure the lid actually fits over the base.

To decorate use DSP cut at 2 5/8”x 3 7/8” (6.5cm x 9.5cm)

                                   2 of 3 7/8” x 3/8” (9.5cm x 1cm) - optional

                                   2 of 2 5/8” x 3/8” (6.5cm x 1cm) - optional
